Dead ipod - help!!

my ipod

My ipod didn't work today,
it's not recognized by the computer at all.

I have tried several things, even restoring. noting worked.

I called virgin megastore for repair it but they refused
becuase the warranty was ended few months ago
and they can't do anything about it ..

any suggestion!!

it's completly off, couldn't turn the power on..
even when i pluged it to the computer it is not charging..

It might be from the cable itself just get a new connection cable and if it still didn't work unfortunatly you're gonna have to fix it....:)
