East Azerbaijan Culture and Islamic Guidance Office in cooperation with
Iran Calligraphy Association holds the 8th Calligraphy Festival of Ghadir
(International) in order to glorify the dignity of Imam Ali(p.b.u.h), to
encourage innovative aptitudes, motives, and evolutionary activities of
Calligraphy, and to exchange experiences and modern artistic achievments
among Iranian and World artists simultaneously with the Holy day Ghadir
Feast.
Calligraphy Fields:
1 - Nastaliq 2-Fragmentary Nastaliq 3- Naskh
4- Sols 5- Calligraphy Painting - Calligraphy Innovations
Regulations:
1- Size: Min. 35*50cm and Max. 100*70cm
2- Works should be only for 2009 and has not been participated
in other Festivals.
3- Everyone can only send maximum 2 works in each Section.
4- Deadline: Nov 15, 2009
5- Every participant will be awarded a certificate.
6- Interested artists living abroad can send their works on a CD or
e-mail them to our internet website and mail-box.
Prizes:
First winner in each section : 700 Euro + Festival Statue + Honor Diploma.
Second winner in each section : 550 Euro + Festival Statue + Honor Diploma.
Third winner in each section : 400 Euro + Festival Statue + Honor Diploma.
Fourth winner in each section : 250 Euro + Honor Diploma.
Fifth winner in each section : 100 Euro + Honor Diploma.
Sixth to Tenth winners : Honor Diploma.
